The Canadian International Council (CIC) Nipissing District Branch is pleased to welcome Dr. Walter Dorn on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, at 4:00pm-5:30pm in B200 (The Weaver Auditorium). 

Dr. Dorn is Professor of Defence Studies at Royal Military College (RMC), and Canadian Forces College in Toronto. The topic of his presentation will be “Canada’s Peacekeeping Deficit: A Discussion on Broken Promises and the Path to Re-engagement.” Professor Dorn will discuss the waning of international peacekeeping operations in recent times, and the path to re-engagement, among other topics. His presentation will be followed by a Q & A session.
