Nipissing University’s Board of Governors is pleased to announce the reappointment of Dr. Kevin Wamsley as its President and Vice-Chancellor for a second five-year term, beginning August 1, 2026.

Nipissing University is deeply saddened by the passing of the Hon. Hilary M. Weston C.M., C.V.O., O.Ont.

Nipissing University officially installed award-winning broadcaster and author Dr. Scott Russell as its fifth Chancellor in a special ceremony held today at the NUSU Student Centre. As Chancellor, Dr. Russell will serve as the ceremonial head of the institution, presiding over Convocation and acting as a key advocate and ambassador for Nipissing and its mission.
