About

Dr. John Hayes of Augusta University, Georgia, will deliver the History Department's 13th Annual Clendinning Memorial Lecture. Dr. Hayes is a scholar of 19th and 20th century America and his talk, "Civil Rights & Civil Fights: Reflections on the Strange American Moment," will offer historical perspective on the recent U.S. midterm elections and the Trump Era.

The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.

The History faculty established this lecture series in memory of our colleague, Dr. Anne Clendinning. Donations to the Anne Clendinning Scholarship Fund can be made via www.nipissingu.ca/giving.
