Barbara will share her personal journey with STEAM and Anishinaabe ways of knowing, being and doing. Her story will focus on her understandings of trees, the ones who hold up the sky, as our Elders and teachers. Barbara will talk about jiimaanike, canoe building, and ziinzbaakwadike, maple sugaring and the intersection of Anishinaabe knowledges and colonial science.
