Secretary to the Office of Graduate Studies and Research
Full-Time Support Staff
Reporting to the Manager, Research and Innovation, the Secretary supports the day-to-day operations of the Office of Graduate Studies and Research (GSR), including providing support to the Associate Vice-President, Research, Innovation, and Graduate Studies and other members of the team. Key responsibilities include coordinating office activities, meetings and communications; acting as recording secretary for research and graduate studies committees; assisting with research events; maintaining records and financial information; and supporting graduate studies, research services and innovation activities.
The successful candidate will hold a two-year office administration diploma from a recognized college, along with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience. Experience in a post-secondary educational setting would be considered an asset.
This position is classified as Wage Grade 50, with a wage range from $27.11 per hour (Step 1) to $34.35 per hour (Step 9). Placement within the salary range will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity and market conditions.
