To request the use of any space within the Teaching Hub, complete the Room Booking Form.

- Regular team meetings are not booked within the Teaching Hub
Within the Teaching Hub, there are 3 bookable spaces:
The Knowledge Cafe (A250)
Welcome Area: A Hub for Casual Conversations for Faculty and Staff
This is the first area most visitors will see. It's designed for discussions, lunches, and a variety of casual conversations that can happen whenever it's most convenient. The space can be booked alongside the Auditorium and/or Sandbox for special events. Otherwise, it provides an open and collaborative environment for faculty and staff.

The Lounge (A250)
The Auditorium (A250-A)
This is the main speaking space with the Teaching Hub. It is designed for small seminars but has flexible seating to accommodate active learning. The Auditorium is vented for smudging and has several large screens available to share information.
Please Note: The furniture in this space is being updated to include tables. An updated photo of the space will be added in January 2025.

The Auditorium (A250A)
The Sandbox (A252-C)
A Dynamic Space for Innovation
The Sandbox is arguably the most exciting part of the Teaching Hub. It features fully mobile furniture, including regular tables and chairs, high bar stools, and bean bag chairs, allowing for endless configurations. Faculty and staff are encouraged to experiment with different setups, and any unused furniture can be stored in a dedicated space. The Sandbox also includes a variety of moveable whiteboards, is vented for smudging, and is equipped with multiple screens that can be arranged in various configurations.
