Policy Statement

  • Nipissing University recognizes the importance of mental health as a critical dimension of holistic student well-being. This policy outlines Nipissing University’s commitments to student mental health and provides information about support available to students.
  • This policy responds to the Strengthening Accountability and Student Supports Act, 2024 which amended the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act to require Ontario’s publicly assisted colleges and universities to have a student mental health policy.
