About
Lorrie currently holds the Secretary to the Dean position in the Dean of Teaching office. She is the first point of contact for the Dean and assists with the day-to-day operations of the office and the Teaching Hub, as well as welcoming faculty members, staff, students and external visitors to The Hub and directing them as necessary.

Lorrie’s duties include the scheduling of appointments and meetings for the Dean, file management, office duties, website maintenance, etc. She is also responsible for the booking of the various spaces within the Teaching Hub, i.e. the Sandbox, the Auditorium and the Lounge, for internal classes, presentations and events. In addition, she provides clerical support to the Teaching and Learning Committee.

Lorrie enjoys spending time with her family, and is an avid decorative painter, furniture refinisher and scrapbooker. She enjoys volunteering, and the “volunteer” projects that Lorrie is most proud of are the two Carousels that are housed at North Bay’s waterfront.
