As the Director of External Relations, Cristin leads the advancement, alumni relations, marketing, communications and community relations team.
Throughout her career, Cristin has been part of leadership in organizations going through times of high growth and change while building a culture of trust, collaboration and communication.
With 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and fundraising, in sectors ranging from tourism to international development, her diverse background has led her to be deeply committed to community and employee engagement while learning how to adapt and thrive in various work environments. She draws on her dialogue and communication background to offer a unique perspective in leadership development for teams in the non-profit sector. Cristin remains committed to highlighting the economic, cultural and social impact Nipissing University has in our region, nationally and around the world, and connecting these impacts with donor and supporter passions and interests.
