The School of Human and Social Development offers a transformative learning experience for students with a desire to change the world and make it a better place. Students will develop skills in problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal relations, civic management and global citizenship. The school will prepare you to pursue graduate studies, professional programs or the workforce, and any one of our programs will provide you with the foundation and knowledge to empower people, enrich the lives of others and contribute to the health of society.

The Social Work program is grounded in principles of social justice and explores issues related to human rights, marginalized groups, mental health, violence, disabilities, and addiction as well as the significance of gender, race, sexuality, class and more. The BSW includes a 700 hour supervised practicum that will enable you to apply the theories and competencies you have learned in an organizational context.
