Join CIC Nipissing District Branch for “Canada’s Role in the World: A View from Parliament” featuring Speaker of the House of Commons, Anthony Rota, with an introduction given by CIC Chair, Bill Graham. Rota will discuss the involvement of Canada’s Parliament and House of Commons in the international arena as well as the role of the Chief Presiding Officer of Canada’s House of Commons in interparliamentary relations and public diplomacy. This involves receiving foreign dignitaries, representing the House of Commons in bilateral and multilateral fora, development programs and as a key representative at international associations.
