POSITION TITLE: Undergraduate Research Assistant
EMPLOYMENT DATES: February 1, 2021 – April 23, 2021 (12 weeks)
HOURS OF WORK: 10 hours per week (would consider two positions at 5 hours/ week)
RATE OF PAY: $14.25/hour + Vacation as determined by HR policy
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will assist with qualitative evidence synthesis projects within the School of Nursing. The projects are focusing on experiences of ageing and chronic illness/ disability. The successful candidate will be working with Dr. Veronika Williams and Dr. Charles Anyinam.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
This position will assist with the following:
- Searching data bases according to protocol
- Retrieve publications/ articles
- Support screening of articles
- Provide assistance with data extraction
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successfully passed a University based research course with a minimum of 75%
- This position is subject to budgetary approval
