The Numeracy Lead will work in classrooms with teachers and students supporting literacy initiatives to impact student achievement in numeracy. He/she will provide leadership for professional development in the area of numeracy. Working collaboratively with a team of education professionals, the Numeracy Lead will demonstrate a strong commitment to learning. The incumbent reports to the Teacher Coach.
Qualifications:
- OCT certified.
2. Knowledge of the development of mathematics concepts and skills
3. Experience with math curriculum and daily lesson planning will be considered an asset
4. Teaching experience considered an asset.
