Full-Time Fees:

Students enrolled in a Masters program at Nipissing University will be charged full semester fees for the beginning portion of their program, based on their program and route as follows:

Master of Arts in History (MRP):  charged full fees for the first three (3) semesters of registration

Master of Arts in Sociology (MRP):  charged full fees for the first three (3) semesters of registration

                                               (Thesis):  charged full fees for the first six (6) semesters of registration

Master of Science in Mathematics (MRP):  charged full fees for the first three (3) semesters of registration

                                                          (Thesis):  charged full fees for the first six (6) semesters of registration

Master of Kinesiology:  charged full fees for the first six (6) semesters of registration

Master of Environmental Science/Master of Environmental Studies:

                                                        (MRP):  charged full fees for the first three (3) semesters of registration

                                                         (Thesis):  charged full fees for the first six (6) semesters of registration

Master of Education (MRP):  charged full fees for the first six (6) semesters of registration

                                   (Thesis):  charged full fees for the first six (6) semesters of registration

Flex-Time Fees:

Students enrolled in a Flex-time program will be charged for full fees for the time period listed above, followed by the same number of “flex” semesters, in which they are responsible for student fees only.

Extension Fees:

Students who have not yet completed their Master program within the time-frame outlined above may apply for an extension and, if granted, will be charged the extension fee of $1000.00 plus ancillary fees per semester.

International Tuition:  $18,350.00 per Year (+ $636.00 UHIP + $986.67 Ancillaries) = $19,972.67 + SIP**

**Annual $225.00 Student Insurance Plan applies to all students once per year, normally due in the Fall semester

​​​​****An interest charge at the rate of 1.5% will be assessed monthly (19.56% effective annual rate) on all student accounts with balances outstanding after the relevant due date for fees incurred.  Interest will not be waived for late payments.****​​​​​​

Non-payment of fees may render a student ineligible for registration in future sessions. In addition, students who are in financial arrears to the university may face deregistration from future courses and will not be issued their transcripts of record, statement of standing, degree or related evidence of their academic progress until such time as their account is cleared.​
