Grace Tiersma – VP Internal

VP InternalHey all! My name is Grace Tiersma and I am currently in my third year at Nipissing in the Criminology steam of the Criminal Justice program. Once I graduate, I plan on attending law school and becoming a criminal lawyer. Last year I was an ISMP mentor, and I am very happy to introduce myself this year as Vice-President Internal. This means that I am responsible for working with internal departments at the university to coordinate shared events, to assist in promoting our events to the larger campus, to raise awareness of our programs, and to make connections between international students and campus life. My goal is to make sure that your time here at Nipissing University is a great and unforgettable experience! Please feel free to add me on Facebook or message me if you have any questions! I can’t wait to meet all of you and have a great year together!

Mikayla Toyne – VP External

VP InternalHey everyone! My name is Mikayla Toyne, and I'm a fourth year student working towards my honours specialization in Geography. I have worked for the International Office as a student assistant for 2 years and have been behind the scenes helping to organize events and responding to emails! This year I am really excited to be in front of the scenes with ISMP in the role of Vice President External. This means that I work with the community of North Bay, and throughout Ontario to help plan events for you guys! I love to travel, spend time with friends and family and am always adding to my bucket list! I am excited to be entering into my final year of my undergrad and for all of you to be part of it! I'm so excited to meet you guys and in the meantime feel free to add me on Facebook, and don't be afraid to stop and talk to me if you see me around campus!

Sadie Hartwick - Mentor Liaison

VP ExternalMy name is Sadie, I’m studying criminal justice at Nipissing. I will be entering my fourth year this September and I plan on becoming a police officer. I’m one of the mentor liaisons with ISMP and I can’t wait for all the events we have planned for the school year! This year I’m spending my summer in North Bay, but I’m from a small town in the Ottawa Valley called Cobden. I enjoy doing anything outdoors and am always looking for a new adventure!

Jessica Gerry - Mentor Liaison

Mentor LiaisonHi everyone, my name is Jessica Gerry and I am a third year student in the Criminal Justice and Concurrent Education program. I hope to one day teach English abroad and possibly study law in the future. This is my second year with ISMP and I have already made so many great memories! I got involved with the program because I love to travel and meet people from all around the world. That being said, I am very excited to welcome you to Canada and look forward to meeting everyone very soon! I hope that we are able to make your time at Nipissing an unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience. Please feel free to message me on Facebook anytime! I think we’re going to have a great year.
