Niminowaazimn, an Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) word meaning, "we are celebrating," is our year-end celebration for Biidaaban Community-Service Learning.

Each spring, student volunteers host a celebration on campus to honour the successes of Biidaaban Youth Groups, Biidaaban Academic Support (tutoring), and other events for Indigenous youth and community that they worked towards during the academic year.

The youth who participated in Biidaaban are invited to the university to celebrate with their tutors. Families are also invited to the celebration. Our volunteers have lunch, run games, and we have a photo booth for the families to take part in.

This year we will be celebrating on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Nipissing University in the Main Cafeteria.
