The Department of Sociology & Anthropology invites applications for the position of Sociology Lab Instructor.  This is a 10-month full-time contract position beginning August 1, 2014.  
The candidate should have an M.A. or PhD in Sociology; demonstrable success at teaching concepts and skills in introductory, methods and statistics, and theory courses in sociology; proficiency in SPSS and, ideally, STATA; excellent oral and written communication skills. 
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting computer lab sessions in SOCI 2126 Social Research Methods and SOCI 2127 Social Statistics and Data Analysis, as well as leading lab/help sessions for introductory and theory courses in sociology. 
In addition to the duties of a lab instructor, candidates will be required to teach one 3-credit sociology course in each of the Fall 2014 and Winter 2015 terms.
