Food Service

Chartwells Food Service

Our Corporate Events Team would be happy to coordinate your catering through our on-campus caterer, Chartwells, and we charge a minimum $100.00 catering coordination fee to do so. Alternatively, once your event booking request is approved, you would be welcome to coordinate catering independently through our on-campus caterer, or any other catering resource of your choice*.

*Catering held in cafeteria spaces must be provided by our on-campus caterer.

Application for Use of Canteen Facilities

Please note that we require a minimum of 6 weeks lead time prior to canteen requests.

Parking
Paid Parking is in effect on campus Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 11:00pm daily. The visitors lot (Parking Lot #4) is available to guests at a cost of $1.25 per hour or $5.75 per day—payable at the parking machine in the lot entrance. Due to limited capacity in our visitors lot, prior parking arrangements for larger group sizes must be coordinated in advance at the above indicated rates.

Pending availability; May 15 to July 31, annually.
Insurance

Prior to securing space on campus, we require that you provide us with a copy of your certificate of insurance ($5 million liability), naming Nipissing University on the certificate for the date(s) of your booking on campus.

Alternatively, should a certificate not be available, with advance notice, the university can request coverage for your event under the university's insurance policy with the following competitive rates:
