Nipissing University is located in North Bay, Ontario, a comfortable 3.5-hour drive north of Toronto. Known as the "Gateway to the North", North Bay is Central Ontario's north/south east/west hub where Highway 11 North and Highway 17 (the Trans Canada) meet. North Bay is a friendly, mid-sized city with a population of 60,000 people and it is the commercial and retail centre serving a much wider regional population.
