FIRST Robotics at Nipissing in 2014

The Robots are coming! This week, Nipissing University welcomes more than 900 high school students to campus for the FIRST Robotics Canada North Bay Regional Competition.

This year is the second year North Bay has hosted a FIRST Robotics Regional Competition and the university will welcome a total of 36 teams from all over Ontario. It represents the highest level of robotics competition offered by FIRST. High-school students team up with the world’s best technology companies to build the most impressive robots you’ve ever seen. Built from scratch in only six weeks, these robots compete in high intensity robo-sports.
