Once you meet all of the qualifications, you may be enrolled in the Program which consists of two different components: Summer Courses and Practical Classroom Experience.
The following is the procedure for applying:
New students:
- Obtain an application form from the Office of the Registrar
- Complete the application form.
- Send the following to the Office of the Registrar:
- Completed application form
- Letter of recommendation
- Secondary school transcript (if you haven not completed Grade 12, contact the Office of the Registrar for information on how to complete the equivalency test).
- Transcripts from any completed post-secondary program.
- Sponsorship Information Form (if applicable)
- $50 non-refundable application fee, made payable to Nipissing University (this will be applied toward your tuition fees).
The deadline to apply for entry into Part 1, 2, or 3 of the NCADP or NSEADP, is May 1. Applications received after this date will be considered only if there are places available.
Returning Students to Parts 2 or 3:
- Complete the application form.
- Send the completed application and the following to the Office of the Registrar:
- Sponsorship letter (if applicable)
- Practicum report that is a verification of classroom hours (signed by a supervising teacher or Principal)
- $50 non-refundable application fee made payable to Nipissing University (this will be applied toward your tuition fees).
Please Note:
You can apply for admission directly into Part 2 of NCADP or NSEADP if you have an official transcript(s), and diploma or certificate from a College of Applied Arts and Technology in any of the following:
- Educational Assistant Certificate
- Early Childhood Education Diploma
- Developmental Services Worker Diploma
Residence
If you are applying for residence, you can download the residence application (available early February) and fax it to (705) 495-1772. Details of the Governors House residence complex can be found on the residence information sheet.
