Program Information, Charges & Fees

 

The MEd program is offered on a full-time and part-time basis in North Bay and Brantford and on a part-time basis in Barrie/Bracebridge, Newmarket/King City and Sudbury.  The full-time MEd program is a two-year program.  The part-time program must be completed within 6 years of enrolment. 

Courses are available through online delivery, mixed delivery (onsite & online) and onsite only delivery.  Onsite and mixed delivery courses are offered either one day/week or on weekends in the Fall and Winter sessions.  Courses are offered online during Spring session.  Summer onsite and mixed delivery courses are offered at selected locations only. Several online courses are offered every session.

How to Apply

Application forms for admission to the MEd program can be downloaded from our website - http://www.nipissingu.ca/registrar/registrarforms.asp.

Applications to the full-time MEd program must be received by Friday, February 26, 2010 for September, 2010 admission. 

Applications to the part-time MEd program must be received by Friday, March 12, 2010 for July 2010 admission, and Friday, May 21, 2010 for September 2010 admission. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all documents are submitted by the required deadline date. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

NOTE: One year of professional experience in education or equivalent is no longer a requirement for admission to the MEd program.
