Welcome from the Chair

On behalf of the faculty members in the Junior/Intermediate Division, I would like to welcome you to Nipissing University and to the J/I program. We wish you every success and assure you that we will support and guide you in your quest to be a teacher. All of our faculty members are experienced teachers who bring a wealth of professional knowledge to the division. We will strive to give you the best possible preparation for your chosen career.

We believe our program offers candidates grounding in the most current innovations in education. An important component of our Bachelor of Education is the iTeach laptop program. Candidates become highly competent in the use of computers for instructional purposes. Our graduates are recruited by boards, at home and abroad, who wish to see computer technology used well in their classrooms.
