We recognize that this news is disappointing for our graduates, their families, friends, and the entire Nipissing community, however, the safety of our Lakers community is paramount. All lending of gowns and hoods for photography purposes has been postponed until further notice due to the increased social distancing measures taken by the University to protect our NU community from the spread of COVID-19.
All on campus graduation photography has also been postponed. The University plans to offer on campus graduation photography when it is deemed safe to do so.
Nipissing University sits on the territory of Nipissing First Nation, the territory of the Anishnabek, within lands protected by the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850.
We are grateful to be able to live and learn on these lands with all our relations.
