PHYSICAL & HEALTH EDUCATION PLACEMENT OFFICER

FULL-TIME ADMINISTRATION

 

Reporting to the Director, of the School of Physical and Health Education, the Physical and Health Education Placement Officer will be responsible for coordinating, supervising and supporting the field placement courses.  The Officer will facilitate the theoretical component and   work with community partners to plan and evaluate student field placements. Other duties include researching and developing expectations and guidelines for community placements, while acting as an advisor and resource during the placement component of the Physical and Health Education program.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education, or equivalent, and one or more years of relevant experience in a physical and health education environment. Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Experience working in community organizations, health promotion and/or sport facilities will be considered an asset.   

The minimum annual salary for this position is $48,393 ($1,861 bi-weekly).
