Faculty of Arts and Science or Faculty of Applied and Professional Programs
For most awards, you need to complete only one application form which is available online through Web Advisor October 1 and must be completed by November 1st. These awards are considered "in-course" awards and are applied for once the fall term has begun.
Although in many circumstances it is indicated that an application is not necessary, if financial need is a criterion of the award then eligibility is determined on the basis of whether a student has applied for OSAP, bursary assistance or Ontario Work Study/Nipwork. As part of our committment to the Student Access Guarantee, bursary assistance may be provided, if warranted, to ensure that tuition and book costs are met.

Ontario International Education Opportunity Scholarships

Awarded to students participating in Nipissing University's international education program. The Government of Ontario has allocated funding, through the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities’ International Strategy, to create seven Ontario International Education Opportunity Scholarships for students completing part of their academic program abroad. This scholarship provides eligible students with financial support for an eligible period of academic study, work term or co-op placement outside of Canada. To qualify, students must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident of Canada or a Protected Person who is in good academic standing (overall average of at least 70%).
