This 3 credit course is designed to provide students with an overview of Canada's history from 1867 to the late twentieth century. It is also designed to provide students with an introduction to reading primary source documents, academic secondary sources, and writing formal essays and analytical assignments. Analyzing different academic interpretations of Canada's past is also an important element of the class.
