The Faculty of Education is committed to promoting the professional growth of teachers through pre-service, in-service and graduate programs. We aim to provide beginning student teachers (pre-service) with an understanding of philosophical, psychological and sociological foundations of education and to introduce students to the rationale for curriculum design.

We offer post-graduate and professional (in-service) candidates a diverse selection of Additional Qualification and Extension Education courses that, when completed, may be recorded on the Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification and can lead to further Education Degrees or Diploma programs.

Our Master of Education (graduate) program is designed to further prepare educational leaders for learning environments such as classrooms, schools and other learning organizations.
