Take the time to think about the meaningful place of games in the curriculum, 7-10. Visit the EQAO site this year.  Very important.

Integers (Preparation for Algebra). Algebra: Variables; Algebraic Expressions; Use of Manipulatives; Algebra issues: student difficulties (conceptions and misconceptions)

Continuation of algebra (elementary equation solving, investigations using manipulatives; modeling, etc).   Algebra issues: student difficulties (conceptions and misconceptions); in-class writing of lesson plans (small group): factoring and Pythagorean Theorem (based on curriculum documents, 7 -10)
