Number Sense and Numeration: Working with whole numbers> Place value, models, operations

Fall Theme activity (measurement, geometry, data man., patterns).  I strongly encourage you to brush up on topics like volume, capacity, area (even surface area), mass if you are feeling a little uncertain.  Actually it is a series of activities with a fall harvest theme. (And it's not pumpkins!) You should not get messy, but you will be going 'hands-on' definitely.  This is designed to give you an idea of activities that are: theme-related, group-based, hands-on, cross-strand and cross-disciplinary, and fun! (While doing plenty of math!) Introduction to Assignment 2
