The Faculty and Administrative Support Services (FASS) department provides document processing and printing services to all faculty and administrative persons.
In the FASS office (A107), clerical support is available on a continual basis, with priority being placed on instructional requests. Along with offering comprehensive word processing services, FASS also provides many other services, including web page support, multiple choice test scanning, course evaluation scanning, final exam processing, CD/DVD creation and faxing. Requests can be submitted in person, by e-mail or be telephone. A drop box is located outside of the office for after hour submissions. Work request forms are available at the front counter or from the web site. Turnaround times vary depending on the work request but general guidelines are available. FASS does not accept external (personal) document processing requests.
Contract research material is not to be submitted for word processing and printing unless pre-arranged with the Vice-President, Finance and Administration.
Printing and photocopying services are offered through Print Plus (F103), a division of Technology Services. Black and white, along with full colour printing/copying is available both to internal employees and external customers. Priority is given to internal instructional processing, document binding, course pack creation, folding, and CD/DVD duplication. Many other services such as booklet making, scanning and padding are also available. Payments for external work can be made with cash or through the Finance Office (F216). While most University photocopying is handled by the high volume printers in Print Plus, there are small photocopy machines located throughout the University that are accessible to employees for occasional low volume copying. These machines are located in A107, A329, H140, H350, VP Admin Hallway and Monastery Hall.
