Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf Scholarship Awards
Vary in amounts from $500 to $1,000. These scholarships are open to students who were born with a profound or severe hearing impairment, or those who have lost their hearing before acquiring language skills. http://agbell.org/NetCommunity/Page.aspx?pid=493
Canada Safeway is funding three scholarships for young adults aged 17 to 27 living with a neuromuscular disorder. The purpose of the Canada Safeway Moving Muscles Scholarship program is to provide financial assistance to young adults in pursuit of their post secondary education or training.
Scholarship candidates must be a registered client of Muscular Dystrophy Canada. One Moving Muscles Scholarships will be awarded in each of the following regions: British Columbia; Alberta; and Saskatchewan/Manitoba/Northwestern Ontario. Each successful candidate will receive $5,000 from the Moving Muscles Scholarship fund, which will be awarded on scholastic achievement, basis of financial need and community involvement. Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA) Scholarship Program
The purpose of the CHHA Scholarship Program is to offer financial assistance and recognition to hard of hearing and deafened students registered in a full time program at a recognized Canadian college or university, in any area of study, with the ultimate goal of obtaining a diploma or degree. Copnick/Hilliard Scholarship Fund

This year the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy’s Board of Directors is offering the Eric Waldron Scholarship Award in the amount of $2000.00 to a student with a disability who is attending their 2nd year at University. Applications should be returned no later than June 15, 2012.
Eric Waldron Scholarship Award Application
This is a $1000 bursary for a mature student with a documented learning disability entering their first year of study. Joubin/Selig Scholarship Fund
The total award amount available varies from year to year. Each scholarship award is set at a maximum of $5,000. Applicant Profile :
· Applicants must have a permanent physical (mobility) disability and must have demonstrated academic achievement. · Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant.

Lilly-MDAO Moving Lives Forward Scholarship
The "Lilly-MDAO Moving Lives Scholarship" will help 6 scholarship recipients' from across Ontario with mood disorders resume their studies and achieve their goals by providing them with financial assistance. NEADS Equity Through Education Scholarships & Awards - Deadline March 1, 2011
This project, which was launched in the spring of 2006, creates equitable opportunities for post-secondary students with disabilities by offering funding to eligible students and campus groups. Up to 20 outstanding applicants, who meet the criteria of the program, will be receiving an award in the amount of $3,000 to support the costs of their tuition and student fees.

The Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario's Dr. E. Bruce Hendrick Scholarship Program
For individuals with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus residing in Ontario that are pursuing higher education. $1000 award for University students, $500 for College students.
The Terry Fox Humanitarian Award Program
Based on demonstration of good citizenship and humanitarian service, perseverance in overcoming obstacles, the pursuit of academic excellence, and the pursuit of excellence in amateur sport, fitness and health; the value of the award is $4000 annually.
Wayne and Walter Gretzky Scholarship Foundation
Eligible applicants are those who are blind or severely visually impaired. Each scholarship is worth $5000, and applications must be received by May 31.
