International English Summer Camps


Three-week camps are designed for International students between 16 and 22 years of age who want to advance their English language skills while experiencing a fun overseas summer vacation.​​
Camps are an exciting mix of classroom instruction and outdoor activities that provide opportunities for leadership and personal development.​​
You will be immersed in a unique learning environment that focuses on learning through group activities and conversation circles, not assignments and tests.​​

Hosted on the Nipissing University campus in North Bay, Ontario, the three-week camps are designed for International students between 16 and 22 years of age who want to advance their English language skills while experiencing a fun overseas summer vacation.

Nipissing is a recognized leader in delivering one of the finest postsecondary student experiences in Canada. The English Camps are no exception and offer an exciting mix of classroom instruction and outdoor activities that provide opportunities for leadership and personal development.

You will be immersed in a unique learning environment that focuses on learning through group activities and conversation circles, not assignments and tests.

Camps are led by English language speakers and trained instructional staff. No prior English language skills are required and your English level of conversational skills and potential will be assessed when you arrive.

Nipissing University has partnered with Nova Scola to offer these English Summer Camps. Activities during the week are followed by weekend excursions and trips to Niagara Falls, Toronto, Algonquin Park and Quebec.

The mentoring received during these camps will foster your intellectual and personal growth. Interactions with Canadian staff and other participants from around the globe will improve social and cultural awareness.
