Nipissing University Student Volunteer Information

As a volunteer, you are asked to:

  volunteer 1-2 hours per week

  attend 3 debrief sessions

  complete Faculty reflections

  respond to a program survey

  have fun! 

How to get involved:

1. Sign up and attend our BCSL orientation by emailing keithm@nipissingu.ca, or dropping by the Office of Aboriginal Initiatives (F215-D)!

2. Complete necessary paperwork:

  Provide a valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check (see: North Bay Police Service)

  WSIB Information

  Online Workplace Health and Safety Training

 3. Attend the Training Weekend on September 30 & October 1st, which focuses on cultural safety and many different areas of professional development (see schedule below).
