All students, employees and visitors must participate in basic safety training sessions as they relate to their work environment. It is important to participate in the safety training that suits your work environment. As such, training is available in the following areas:

Supervisors are to ensure that any student hired for employment at Nipissing University has received any and all relevant training that pertains to the position being offered. All such training must be recorded, with the date of training, typed of training and who did the training.
It should be pointed out that safety training does not just apply to Science hires, but also applies to Fine Arts, Print Plus, UTS and any other area that uses WHMIS controlled substances.
