Tenure track appointment in Finance 
 
Nipissing University’s School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position in Finance area, effective January 01, 2018 or later (till the position is filled), subject to final budgetary approval. 
 
This is an opportunity to join a growing School of Business in a university that focuses on quality undergraduate teaching and research.  The School has a strong reputation for being student centered and providing students with opportunities to earn ‘more than a degree’.
 
The School of Business is one of the most dynamic academic units at Nipissing University. It offers a wide array of undergraduate certificate, diploma, and degree programs (BComm and BBA) in business. These programs are taught using both on-campus and distance delivery methods. Throughout its programs, the School of Business stresses active student learning as well as the globalization of the business environment.
 
The successful candidate should ideally possess a Ph.D in Finance area with an MBA; or equivalent Master’s degree Finance Area; a minimum of 3 years continuous teaching experience at a business school in Finance area; evidence of strong teaching potential as reflected by student evaluations; strong research abilities as evidenced by recent publications in peer reviewed journals; significant related industry/ work experience; and professional designations will be of added advantage.
 
Applications will be reviewed commencing 15 November 2017, and may continue until the position is filled.
