The 1992 Leadership Society

The year 1992 marked both Nipissing University’s 25th anniversary and the year in which it became the newest university in Canada. The Nipissing University Act, signed December 10, 1992 by the Lieutenant Governor for the province of Ontario, gave the institution the right to grant baccalaureate degrees as an independent, chartered university.  Membership in the 1992 Leadership Society includes all donors with annual gifts in the current fiscal year totaling $1,000 or greater.

The NU Blue and Green Clubs

Northern Ontario is a land of natural beauty. This beauty is reflected in the
colours of Nipissing University. The blue of the water and the green of the
forest reflect the deep attachment the University has to its natural surroundings.

Membership in the NU Blue and Green Clubs include all donors with
annual gifts in the current fiscal year totaling $20 to $999.

  • Recognized in one issue of the Nipissing University Review magazine as
    member of the Futures Club
  • A charitable tax receipt will be issued for gifts of $20 or greater.

donors based on our fiscal year (May - April).
Financial support may be publicly recognized in the annual listing of
