The 1992 Leadership Society

The year 1992 marked both Nipissing University’s 25th anniversary and the year in which it became the newest university in Canada. The Nipissing University Act, signed December 10, 1992 by the Lieutenant Governor for the province of Ontario, gave the institution the right to grant baccalaureate degrees as an independent, chartered university.  Membership in the 1992 Leadership Society includes all donors with annual gifts in the current fiscal year totaling $1,000 or greater.

$5,000 - $9,999

• Invitation to annual donor recognition event
• Personal invitation to all Nipissing University campus events
• Special recognition gift
• Use of campus facilities
• A complimentary copy of the annual President's report
• Recognized on the donor recognition wall/kiosk in the main foyer and in
  one issue of the Nipissing University Review magazine.

Presidents’ Circle
$2,500 - $4,999

• Invitation to annual donor recognition event
• Personal invitation to all Nipissing University campus events
• A complimentary copy of the annual President's report
• Recognized on the donor recognition wall/kiosk in the main foyer and in
  one issue of the Nipissing University Review magazine.
• A charitable tax receipt.

Deans’ Circle
$1,000 - $2,499

• Personal invitation to all Nipissing University campus events
• A complimentary copy of the annual President's report
• Recognized on the donor recognition wall/kiosk in the main foyer and in
  one issue of the Nipissing University Review magazine.
• A charitable tax receipt.

The NU Blue and Green Clubs

Northern Ontario is a land of natural beauty. This beauty is reflected in the
colours of Nipissing University. The blue of the water and the green of the
forest reflect the deep attachment the University has to its natural surroundings.

Membership in the NU Blue and Green Clubs include all donors with
annual gifts in the current fiscal year totaling $20 to $999.

$ 500 - $ 999

Friends’ Club
$250 - $ 499

• Recognized on the donor recognition wall/kiosk in the main foyer and in

Builders’ Club
$100 - $ 249

• Recognized on the donor recognition wall/kiosk in the main foyer and in
  one issue of the Nipissing University Review magazine
• A charitable tax receipt.

Futures Club
$20 - $ 99

• Recognized in one issue of the Nipissing University Review magazine as
  member of the Futures Club
• A charitable tax receipt will be issued for gifts of $20 or greater.

Visit the main foyer of our campus to view your name on our recognition wall and
watch for the fall issue of the Nipissing University Review for a listing of all

donors based on our fiscal year (May - April).
Financial support may be publicly recognized in the annual listing of
donors on our website. Please inform our office know if you wish to
remain anonymous.
