Staff Award nominations open

Nominations are now being accepted from the Nipissing University community for the Staff Awards for Exceptional Performance and/or Service.

The purpose of these awards is to recognize the importance the university lends to exceptional performance and/or service to the university by a non-faculty employee.  It also highlights the key role that employees play and serves to encourage employees to provide high quality service on a consistent basis.  The award helps employees identify with the university’s mission and, especially, with the principles of excellence endorsed by the administration.

The awards include two monetary awards worth $1,500 each, a framed certificate and a commemorative plaque.

If you would like to nominate a non-academic staff member for this award, please complete the nomination form and provide letters of support, and submit to the attention of Tina Carswell at tinac@nipissingu.ca or by regular mail in a sealed envelope marked 'confidential'.

Deadline for submissions is March 1, 2012.
