The Schulich Fellowship Award Program is an exciting and innovative opportunity for Nipissing University faculty. It has been made possible through a generous benefaction by the Schulich family to Nipissing University. This year’s deadline for making a submission is Friday, February 3, 2012.
Open to all full-time tenured and tenure track instructors who have taught at Nipissing for at least three years in one of the Faculties of Arts and Science, Applied and Professional Programs, and Education, the fellowship recognizes faculty members who have made important contributions to teaching and learning. A successful candidate will be provided dedicated time and resources in the pursuant academic year to conduct work in the discipline of teaching and learning.
The Selection Committee of the fellowship includes former Schulich Fellows; winners of Nipissing’s Teaching Excellence Award; the Vice President, Academic and Research (ex-officio); and the Academic Director, Centre for Flexible Teaching and Learning (non-voting).
The specific elements of the fellowship include the following:
