As part of the iTeach Advantage Package, students receive many opportunities to participate in a series of professional development sessions connected to various topics within the realm of Educational Technology Integration (ETI) and Teaching. The workshops are delivered in a variety of formats (e.g., face-to-face interactive; online self–directed; blended learning delivery format). Successful completion of the topics will enhance the pre-service teacher's capacities and confidence with ETI. A certificate of completion (digital format) will be issued by the Centre for Flexible Teaching and Learning and iTeach Learning Centre for individual teacher candidates. Students may wish to have the file printed in hard copy. This certificate can be included in the pre-service teacher's professional portfolio.
In conjunction to the workshops, students are also invited to participate in the Infusion Share Fair taking place in March 2013! Workshop times and specific dates will be sent via your Nipissing University email accounts. Check regularly and mark workshop dates/times that you are interested in, into your calendars.
A schedule (dates, times & topics) of workshops will be provided by the iTeach Learning Center staff.

Question: Can you change the times of the face-to-face workshops?
Answer: Unfortunately, the times and dates that are designated cannot be changed. Although the iTeach program would like to schedule things to match everyone's schedule, it is just not realistic or possible. Please keep in mind that all workshop content will be made available to all students in downloadable formats.
Question: Can you turn a face-to-face workshop into an online workshop?
Answer: Face-to-face workshops are designed to feature interactive and hands-on elements with a variety of technologies. We understand spaces are limited, and not all students will be able to attend. Therefore, we will ensure that all students have access to workshop content and invite all students to take advantage of the iTeach Learning Centre in A230 – drop in and explore the technologies and ask questions/receive assistance.
