The Concurrent Education program at our Brantford Campus is offered in partnership with Laurier Brantford. Graduates receive an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Society, Culture & Environment from Laurier Brantford and a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing.
Attendance at the Professional Friday workshop series is strongly encouraged! This series will provide Year 5 Teacher Candidates with the opportunity to meet with the Ministry of Education, OCT, QECO and federations that exist for teachers in Ontario. Teacher Candidates will also develop their professional skills through a variety of information sessions and professional development workshops led by Nipissing faculty and external representatives.
All graduating Teacher Candidates are strongly encouraged to attend this series of 'Professional Friday' workshops. Attendance will be taken during each workshop.
Please mark the following Fridays on your calendar. Workshops will be held from approximately 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (note: schedules may vary by day). Specific schedules can be viewed as they come available.
Teacher Candidates must register in their choice of workshops on each day.
