Campus ClosuresThe Brantford Campus of Nipissing University will close automatically if the Laurier Brantford Campus is closed. When the universities are thus closed, the closing may be for the entire day or a period of the day. The closure will communicate the reopening time and can be revised in the event of ongoing severe weather.The Nipissing Brantford office will communicate the university's decision based on established protocol. The decision to close the campus will be made by 6 a.m. for a morning closing, by 10 a.m. for an afternoon closing and by 4 p.m. for an evening closing. Radio stations that can be expected to carry announcements of a campus closure include: CKPC AM 1380, 92.1FM or www.ckpc.com "Cancellations and Closings". A campus closure notice will be posted on the Laurier Brantford homepage and the Nipissing Brantford homepage and there will be an automated message on the main telephone number of both Laurier Brantford (519-756-8228) and Nipissing Brantford (519-752-1524).Closing Outside Normal Business HoursAny closing that involves the cancellation of evening classes will be determined during the working day in accordance with the procedure described above.
