Sponsorship Application

Purpose:

To distribute sponsorship funds from the Nipissing University Alumni Association (NUAA) to student groups in a fair and consistent manner to assist students with special projects and events that are cultural, athletic, or educational in nature and of benefit to the Nipissing community.

Eligibility:

• An individual must be a registered full or part-time Nipissing University student
• A group must be officially recognized by Nipissing University through a faculty, department or student union
• Projects must be student run for the benefit of all Nipissing students and/or alumni
• Projects may not be political or religious in nature

How to Apply:

Submit the application form and attached copies of the following support material:

• A detailed budget – must include expenses, other sources of funding, and specific amount requested from the NUAA
• A description of how you will use the funds (For example speaker sponsorship, conference registration, etc.
• A description of how the NUAA will be recognized as a sponsor
• A description of how the funds will assist to build upon and showcase the culture of Nipissing University, enhance the quality of education or campus life, benefit groups of students and/or alumni, and reflect the mandate of the NUAA
• Other information deemed helpful to the NUAA in selecting recipients

The NUAA will accept applications twice during the academic year, October 16th and February 16th. You will be notified when your application has been processed.

Sponsorship amounts will vary depending on the number of applications and the amount of available funds. It is imperative that your application detail how your project or event aligns with the NUAA's criteria (stated in the application). The NUAA reserve the right to reject any and all applications.
