As a Nipissing University Criminal Justice Student, I was able to draw experiences from in the classroom, in the field conducting research, and even in a guest speaker series with a professor in Merida, Mexico. The program provided me with so many unique opportunities that I wouldn't have been able to experience at another institution. Now having almost completed my Masters degree from the University of Ottawa, I can say with certainty that I would not have been able to accomplish everything I have without the education, experience and most importantly the faculty and their non-stop support during the four years I was there. - Lindsey Pecaric, currrently completing her M.A. Criminology (Applied), as well as working full time as an Evaluation Analyst for the Correctional Service of Canada in the Evaluation Branch within the Policy Sector.
