The Criminal Justice program offers exchange programs and video-conferencing courses through Mansfield University in Pennsylvania. Students are particularly enthusiastic about a third year serial homicide course taught by renowned serial homicide expert and Mansfield University professor Dr. W. Scott Thornsley. the exchange program and video-conferencing courses offer students at Mansfield and Nipissing the opportunity to draw knowledge from faculty at both universities.

The Mansfield University exchange provides the opportunity for a very unique university experience. Students deciding to go on exchange will not only have a wide variety of Criminal Justice courses to choose from, but also exciting electives in subject areas such as music, athletics and the visual arts. Various social activities are also made available for students on campus. While attending MU, students can choose to catch a baseball game, a football game with a marching band, various concerts or participate in one of the various organized trips to cities such as New York, NY, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
