Bachelor of Commerce
Nipissing University offers a Bachelor of Commerce degree program which can be completed entirely online to students in both Canada and around the world. With three semesters a year (Summer, Fall and Winter) students can choose to complete anywhere from one to twelve courses per year. In addition to this flexibility, students may also be able to fast track (obtaining transfer credit / advanced standing for previously obtained education), reducing tuition costs and time required to complete our degree. Students may be awarded credit towards this degree for courses completed through the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI), Institute of Canadian Bankers (ICB), various colleges and/or other universities as follows:
- up to a maximum of 39 credits from CSI/ICB combined
- up to a maximum of 18 credits from a two-year college diploma with a
minimum GPA of 3.0
- up to a maximum of 24 credits from a three-year college diploma with a
minimum GPA of 3.0
- approved courses from other university degree programs with a
minimum "C" grade in each course
Regardless of how many transfer credits are awarded students must complete at least 30 credits from Nipissing University.
