Department Overview

The Centre for Continuing Education offers degree credit distance education courses and non-credit professional development and lifelong learning courses within the Faculty of Applied & Professional Studies and the Faculty of Arts & Science.  Course offerings in a variety of subject areas are growing, and will continue to provide web-based interactive learning opportunities for students when they are away from campus.  View our Distance Education Course Offerings page for a complete listing of courses currently being offered.

Students in Canada or around the world that wish to complete a Bachelor of Commerce degree completely through distance education should keep in mind the following application deadlines:

July 26, 2010 to begin September, 2010 (processing will begin June 15, 2010)
November 15, 2010 to begin January, 2011 (processing will begin October 4, 2010)
April 4, 2011 to begin May 2011 (processing will begin February 21, 2011)

 

Distance education registration

for the upcoming fall semester will begin
June 21, 2010

Attention Teachers

Teachers looking for professional development opportunities or additional qualification (AQ) courses should visit the in-service education department.  Alternatively, those looking for teaching subject courses via distance education should view our course offerings for a tentative listing of courses regarding the upcoming semester (note that you will need to apply as a special student to take these courses).
