DEGREE COMPLETION FOR COLLEGE GRADUATES

Students graduating from Fanshawe, Sheridan, Humber, or Mohawk in an approved business related discipline with a minimum overall average of 75 percent may be granted advanced standing by Nipissing University. This means, if you have graduated with a 3-year diploma, you could earn a Bachelor of Commerce in 12 months by completing 5 courses in each of 3 consecutive semesters.

This BComm degree completion program employs a unique "Blended Delivery" approach which is a combination of:

  • Online (web-based) learning led by an Online Instructor, and
  • Face-to-face "in class" learning, led by a Course Facilitator. Students have a choice of attending these in-class sessions at either Sheridan campus (Brampton or Oakville) or at the main Fanshawe campus in London.

This delivery method offers you the flexibility that online learning offers combined with the advantage of meeting with course facilitators and your fellow classmates on a regular basis to discuss what you have learned online.

The blended delivery approach is built on close collaboration and teamwork among online instructors, course facilitators, and students.

Fanshawe, Sheridan, Humber, or Mohawk students who are in the final year of their 3-year business diploma (or who have already graduated with a 3-year business diploma) can apply online through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC). www.ouac.on.ca using the OUAC 105 procedure for "All other undergraduate applicants".
