Practicum Surveys
Practicum surveys are to be completed at the end of each school year. The surveys are open the last week of March, and remain open for three weeks. After this time, the survey will be closed and can no longer be accessed. Each Teacher Candidate entering Year 2, 3 or 4 will be requested to be complete a survey. This survey provides the Practicum Office with information that can be used for future placements.
The 2009/2010 surveys are closed. If you did not complete the survey, copies are available in the Practicum Office.
Practicum surveys will be completed on-line:

All students are strongly encouraged to complete a survey. This survey will be completed on an annual basis. Practicum placements for students who choose to not complete the survey will be assigned at the end of the placement process.
Why are students requested to complete a survey?
For students entering Year 2 and Year 3 in September 2009:
Surveys provide the Practicum Office with useful information regarding student interests helping to achieve the best possible fit for a practicum, as possible.
For students entering Year 4 in September 2009:
Teacher Candidates entering Year 4 in September 2009 will complete a more comprehensive survey to also include the following:
- School Board (one) selection for final year practicum
- Teachable subject for all J/I students who must complete one secondary placement in their subject area
- Alternative placement interest (application form must also be completed)
- Indication if Graduating in ‘09 or ‘10
