Tony D'Agostino
Head Coach


Tony D'Agostino a North Bay native enters his first season as head coach of the Lakers men's soccer program and his fourth as part of the coaching staff.

Tony started for the St. Joseph Scollard Hall Bears which went undefeated in NDA play for 5 consecutive seasons. The bears finished 4th and 5th in two consecutive OFSAA championships which remains the highest finish of any NDA school at the Ontario Championships.

In 1987 Tony was a member of the Northern Ontario soccer team which competed in the provincial championships.

Tony played for Laurentian University, whose team in 1989-1990 captured the OUAA championship and reached the CIAU semi final. Tony is now a member of the Laurentian University Alumni Hall of Fame.

Tony is married to Bev and they have two children, Dylan and Nicholas.

Peter Bitonti
Assistant Coach

Peter Bitonti enters his 8th season as part of the Lakers men's soccer coaching staff. Peter has served as both the head coach and assistant coach.

Peter Bitonti played forward for the St. Joseph Scollard Hall Bears which went undefeated in NDA play for five consecutive seasons. The bears finished 4th and 5th in two consecutive OFSAA championships which remains the highest finish of any NDA school at the Ontario Championships.

Peter attended Nipissing University and was named Male Athlete of the Year in 1991-1992. Peter returned to Nipissing in 1998 and scored 11 goals (A current Nipissing record) when he played on the men's soccer team's inaugural season in the OUA.

Peter started his coaching career with the Nipissing University's women's indoor soccer program and remained involved for ten years.
